The LIL currently operates with a quad. Each beam delivers 25 kJ in the infrared and 9.5 kJ in the ultraviolet. Octalil (2 quads) might issue nanosecond pulses of 60 kJ in the ultraviolet.

The specification also provides a power contrast ratio above 107 to 7 ps before the peak pulse and an energy contrast ratio of the front pulse (Full width at half maximum of the stretched pulse) over 103 of the energy contained into the main pulse.
