Contracting owner: Région AquitaineRégion Aquitaine is one of the 26 French local governments. Région Aquitaine provides financial support to reasearch and innovation. Région Aquitaine supports large-scale scientific projects, as PETAL, from design to research programs.
Project manager: CEACEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world in the fields of energy, defense, information technologies and health.
Technical and scientific Comittee: ILPThe Laser and Plasma Institute (ILP) is a national entity set up in March 2003 to promote research in the field of dense and hot plasmas and intense lasers. Charter members are CEA, CNRS, Ecole Polytechnique and University of Bordeaux 1. ILP gathers 28 french laboratories and around 250 scientists. The ILP is based on two operational hubs: the Lasers and Plasmas Federation and the Association Lasers and Plasmas. The latter provides the animation of an International Scientific comittee, which monitors the adequacy of the scientific program of PETAL with the Hiper project. |
